Benjamin Franklin Holland, Sr.

Bejamin Franklin Holland, Sr. retired from the N.C.&St.L Railroad with forty-five years service.

Ben was born March 19, 1893 in Pikeville, TnN and died February 4, 1959 in Chattanooga, TN.

Ben start date was about 1907 as a waterboy, and worked his way up to Switchman

His nickname was "Bull Frog".

Ben transfered from Bridgeport, AL. to Chattanooga, TN about 1929 to work at Cravens Yard.

Ben was called back about 1938 after being laid-off from work for six years during The Great Depression.
