Suggs Family

Joe Bengamin Suggs and his son, Horris, were both employees of the NC&St.L. Joe was an Engineer on the freight train, and his son was a Fireman on the passenger train. Both were killed in a wreck at the Tullahoma Station on January 27th, 1905.

My maternal grandmother was married (2nd. marriage) to a Robert A. Cole who was the brother of a Cole that was a Superintendent of the Line in 1859 and she, my Grandmother, was also once the manager of the Railroad Hotel in Nashville (late 1860's).
